Looking for a great Friday night activity to beat the winter doldrums? This is a “one size fits all” event which includes all the food you can eat and adult beverages of your choice while supporting the College Station ISD Education Foundation. The 11th Annual event in 2018 raised over $200,000 to support innovative teaching grants, scholarships, Success 24/7, the Pre-K/Head Start book voucher program, and Chrissy’s Closet.
Technologous is proud to announce that we will be partnering with Evolve Impact Group, to form a team for the 12th Annual 50 Men Who Can Cook event Friday, February 1st, 2019. Our team of experts includes Technologous’ Chris Dawson and Ian Soares and Evolve’s CEO Kevin Crenshaw. Technologous will be returning as the 2018 Best Soup/Chili award winners and will be preparing Acadiana Chicken Bisque for your culinary pleasure this year.
The 50 Men Who Can Cook event brings together local community and school leaders who prepare a recipe of their choice from categories including salad, soups, sides, entrees, and desserts. Each Celebrity Chef (or Chef team) is asked to bring 800, 2 oz. samples for guests to taste at the event. Each ticket purchased for $60 includes entrance into the event and all the food you can taste and adult beverages of your choice.
This year mystery bags and a raffle will offer guests opportunities to support our schools. You will also be able to vote for your favorite appetizer/salad/side dish, soup/chili, entrée, and dessert for the awards that will be presented at the end of the evening to our Celebrity Chefs. This is an “adult-oriented” event and guests are discouraged from bringing children.
Technologous has some additional incentives for the evening. In partnership with Downtown Event Services, we’ll be providing a photo booth for capturing the evening’s fun. Even better, we’ll be giving away two amazing door prizes – an Amazon Echo AND a full year of free Digital Listings Management! All we ask is that you come by our booth during the evening, take some photos, sample our amazing chicken bisque, and drop off a business card.
The event will take place on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at the Brazos County Expo, 5827 Leonard Road, Bryan, Texas.
