Chris Dawson, CEO

Chris grew up in New Orleans and as the son of a computer programmer turned small business owner, he developed the unique understanding for supporting small business. His interest in computers spurred him to learn his first computer language in 1999 on a Gateway PC that he took apart, reassembled, and installed Windows 95 on from scratch. From that moment on, he has focused on developing technological strategies to help small businesses grow and thrive.

During his time at Texas A&M, he worked for the Provost IT Department supporting all of the Academic Support & related organizations. It was there he developed a passion for customer service and expanded his knowledge in the realm of IT Support and Managed Services.

While starting his own business in 2013, Chris realized that every small business requires more than their idea and product/service to get off the ground. He quickly learned that every small business needs help to get up and running. The do-it-all-yourself approach creates a minefield of missing pieces in the business organization puzzle. Technologous was founded to solve the Technology piece of that puzzle.
